DFV-AAMP Quality Competition for Sausage & Ham

The German Butchers Association (DFV, short for Deutscher Fleischer-Verband), the official representative of craft butchers in Germany, formed a partnership with AAMP to hold the DFV/AAMP IFFA Quality Competition for Sausage and Ham every three years in the United States.

The American Association of Meat Processors is once again partnering with the German Butchers Association (Deutscher Fleischer-Verband [DFV]) for the 2025 DFV/AAMP Quality Competition for Sausage and Ham! This year’s judging will take place January 27-30, 2025, at The Iowa State University Meat Laboratory in Ames, IA.
The date to register for the Quality Competition will be announced shortly. The deadline for registration will be Friday, December 13, 2024.
