Meat Product Label Requirement

All retail meat product labels must have five features at minimum.

The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) of the USDA requires all meat product labels to include specific details. This reference document is a good reminder of the five required features and any additional facts or statements depending on the type of product you’re selling.
